SIP Trunking

The SIP Trunk service offers a fixed telephony solution, allowing a higher number of voice channels to be transmitted over a single IP connection.

The service can be offered with both geographical and non-geographical numbering (from the range 0373.5xx.xxx).

The voice platform is available across all national and international operators with which Telekom Romania has concluded an agreement.

The security and protection of confidential data is ensured by our state-of-art MPLS network, through the specific protocols and mechanisms for encoding and transmitting information. The solution offers the possibility of separating data traffic from voice, bandwidth sharing (voice resource optimization) as well as scalability and centralized monitoring.

Service Functionalities & Facts

The service is available for operators that are authorized to provide voice services in Romania

The SIP Trunking service allows users connected to a TDM/IP exchange to initiate and receive telephone calls to and from any telephony network interconnected with the Telekom Romania network

Our solution supports a flexible number of concurrent calls starting from 10 and up to 500 simultaneous calls

A DDI numbering range will be transferred to the operator, before the service activation. Customers may opt for a range of 10, 100 or 1000 geographical numbers among the free ranges offered by Telekom. Other supplementary ranges may be added later on, upon request

The SIP Trunk service is delivered over a premium data service (Managed VPN, Internet Broadband, allowing to prioritize voice traffic over other less sensitive categories of traffic

Up to 500 simultaneous communications can be transmitted over a single SIP Trunk connection

Customized rate plan for cost optimization, and flexible billing process

24/7 professional help desk services for operators
