Mr. Popovici joined Telekom in 2015 running a large part of its customer-facing units (shops, push channels, technical fieldforce), then leading since 2017 the push channels and the fixed technical operations (from call centers to field interventions) driving transformation along these customer processes and growth in FTTH through local push.
Previous to Telekom, Mr. Popovici was for 2 years Board member in a Bank (BCRI), and an associate partner with McKinsey and Company (9 years). He gained extensive experience in driving transformations, commercial, sales and network operations.
He holds a Ph.D. Degree from ETH Zurich and a computer science Diploma from T.U. Darmstadt, Germany.
